This 1-day program is designed to examine in detail recent trends, counseling clients, whether Chapter 7 is a good option for your client, the necessary forms & documents and resources. Further topics addressed include the emotional needs of clients, Chapter 7 vs. Chapter 13, the means test, the initial consultation, red flags, alternatives to Chapter 7, the pre-filing credit counseling course, income tax, the meeting of creditors, Schedules A – J, student loans, discharge of taxes, latest significant cases and helpful bankruptcy websites.

This program consists of 400 minutes of live continuing legal education, including 100 minutes in Ethics, designed for all levels of attorneys and will be held at the Holiday Inn Express – Philadelphia Midtown located on 1305 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA 19107.

This one-day program will satisfy attorney credits for both Newly Admitted and Veteran Attorneys who are admitted in New York*, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

*This program is accredited by Pennsylvania and New Jersey. New York attorneys may count towards their New York CLE requirement credit earned through participation in out-of-state courses under New York’s Approved Jurisdiction policy.
